About Me
Hi! My name is Lizzy Perrone. I recently graduated from Oklahoma City University with my Bachelor of Music in Music Theatre. Come August, I will be making the big move to NYC!
Originally from Texas, I began performing from an early age, whether in my family living room with my karaoke machine, performing self-directed plays with my friends, or re-enacting scences from my favorite classic films. In high school, I discovered my passion for being onstage, telling important stories through song and dance, and touching audiences in ways that words alone cannot.
I am a legit soprano, with a strong foundation in contemporary musical theatre. I am especially drawn to edgier, dramatic, folk inspired works, such as those of Stephen Sater, Tom Kitt, and Jamestown Revival. My training includes jazz and tap from the Anne Lacy School of Dance & Entertainment, as well as experience in straight plays and Shakespeare.
My most recent credits include 'Maria' in West Side Story, and 'Maria Elena' in Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story.
